A New Shower for Bubby

It is no secret that Keric LOVES his bath! I think if I let him, he would spend hours in there! He comes by it honestly however, trust me! :)

On Saturday Chris had to go to Home Depot, and he took Bubby with him. Bubby actually LOVES Home Depot, and Chris likes to have a buddy go with him, I am not as excited about going as Bubby seems to be.

When they came back Bubby came in carrying something. He came bringing me this package thing. I looked at it, and immediately started to laugh. Chris had bought him his own fishy shower! It is so funny!

It hooks up to your regular shower head, and then it has suction cups and it's own hose, so you can adjust the height of the fish. It is the PERFECT height for Bubby to take a shower! So of course we had to hook it up and give it a try.

I wasn't sure how Bubby would feel about the whole shower thing, I mean it is kind of cold standing there, especially when you can't have the curtain closed or anything, but surprisingly he really liked it!

It was a little wet and messy, but then again so is his bath! (He really gets into the splashing!)

So Bubby has now taken his very first of I'm sure many fishy showers!

Big Boy Haircut

Today Keric got his first "real" haircut. I say real, because Daddy has cut it with the clippers a couple of times, but this time he got to really have a cape on, and got his hair cut with scissors, and sit in a big chair! You would think someone would be happy about this, especially given the fact that his hair is just horrible these days! He honestly looks like he just "rolled out of bed" ALL THE TIME! Unless I just DUMP hairspray on his hair, it just sticks up everywhere and looks like a huge mess. The hairspray doesn't even work that well, sometimes it does more harm then good!

I tried to let it kind of grow out, hoping it would get long enough to lay down on it's on, and start doing something. It did get longer, but it never really laid down, it just stuck up higher.

Shannon agreed to cut his hair for me, so we went down this morning. We sat him on the big stool, and put his cape on, and of course the bawling began! He was OK for awhile, he didn't even really mind the clippers part, but when she got out the scissors, he just lost it! I still have no idea why! You would think the clipper part would be the scary part. As you can see...he was really happy about the whole thing from the second his cape was ON!

Anyway, he made it out alive, and so did poor Shannon! He had puffy eyes from crying, and big red cheeks full of tear stains, but he was one cute little man! I LOVE his hair! He looks like such a big boy!

Scrappy Nati Designs

One of the CT's that I am on, actually my very FIRST CT, asked us awhile ago to contribute to a CT kit that would be given away as a promotion for the designer I create for. They wanted us basically to make a small kit of our own!

I was PETRIFIED! I thought, what in the world have I signed up for?!?! I can do layouts no problem, but as far as making a kit myself, I had no idea what to do.

So I sent the designer an e-mail explaining to her that I may be in way over my head, and she assured me that designing was "easy" and she could help me with some of the basic more simple things for this kit. So I was assigned to do what are called "clusters". Basically I take all the elements from the different parts of the kit, and make up "better" elements.

Last night I was having trouble sleeping, so I came down to the dungeon and started working on my clusters. They actually weren't hard at all, and it was fun to do them.

The second part of my "design" assignment was to "present" them. So I had to come up with a name for myself, and also make what is called a preview page. So I did those last night too. I sent my clusters in for "review" and got lots of good feedback on them, which made me feel good.

So anyway, here is my design debut. It's kinda fun to know that somewhere out there, someone is going to make a scrapbook page, and they will use MY clusters...or at least I hope they will!

Sorry for all the scrapbook talk...it probably makes no sense to those of you who don't scrapbook, but hey...all I'm really looking for is some not so solicited praise from others! haha

I did it AGAIN....

I accepted ANOTHER CT position for another Designer last week; Gettin Scrappy with Britt. This is my third and FINAL CT. I LOVE being on them, and it really isn't a lot of "work", but once in awhile I get hit with having to do a layout for all three by the same or around the same day, and that stresses me out a little.

It's good stress, because I do love to do it, and what better excuse than "I have to do it..." but I do spend too much time on the computer, and I need to probably not add to it anymore. :)

So here is my third and FINAL CT. I haven't done a layout for her yet, but I will post one as soon as I do. :)
